1. – GENERAL CONSIDERATIONS
The purpose of the instructions we provide is to give information about correct installation and
optimum performance of the Kit 00/01 electronic pressure regulator.
The Kit 01 is a compact piece of equipment comprising check valve, LED indicator lights and
reset button.
The Kit 00 is a compact piece of equipment comprising check valve.
Both are appliances developed to automate pump starting and stopping, preventing the unit
running without water and requiring no recharging with air.
With a water consumption of least 1.4 l/minute (4.31 US g.p.m.) the pump is always in
operation.

The Kit 00/01 starts the pump running when any tap in the installation is opened. The Kit will
keep the pump running as long as there is any tap open.
When the taps are turned off, the Kit 00/01 stops the pump.
On the Kit 01 the difference between the starting pressure and the maximum pump pressure
must exceed 0.5 bar (7.2 psi).
CAUTION. Correctly following the installation and use instructions, together with the
electrical connection diagrams, ensures good operation of the Kit.
HAZARD. Failure to heed the instructions in this manual can lead to overloading of the
electrical circuit, under-performance of the technical characteristics, reduced appliance
life and other consequences of all kinds, for which we decline all responsibility.
2. INSTALLATION
2.1 – Fitting the Kit
Fit the Kit directly into the impeller section of the pump or in series with the impeller tubing, as
shown in Figures 1 and 2. Ensure that the connectors are leaktight (for example, by using
Teflon tape).
The Kit can be oriented in any position. It is nevertheless advisable not to install it in the
downflow direction.
The Kit 00 must always be installed under the supply tank (in charge). The highest water outlet
in the installation must be at least 50 cm below the tank. (Fig. 7).
CAUTION: For correct operation of the Kit 00/01 the check valve must be able to act
freely, to which end the measures noted in Figure 3 must be observed.
2.2 – Fitting the tubes
CAUTION: Before connecting the Kit it is essential to prime the pump completely. (Kit 01)
In an installation in which the equipment is connected to a mains supply with input
pressure, it should be taken into account that at the output from the Kit the mains
pressure will be added to that supplied by the pump.

1. - GÉNÉRALITÉS
Les instructions fournies ont pour objet d'informer sur l'installation correcte et le
rendement optimal du régulateur électronique de pression Kit 00/01.
The Kit can be mounted directly on the pump. The weight of the impeller tubing should not be
allowed to rest on the Kit, to prevent which it is recommended that a flexible mesh be fitted
between the Kit and the tubing. (Fig. 2).
The Kit 00/01 has a built-in check valve. No other check valves need be fitted.
2.3 – Electrical connection
CONNECTING THE PUMP TO THE KIT
2.3.1 An authorised technician must prepare and connect the pump to the Kit using the
cable supplied, which is at least 0.5 m (20 inches) long, following the diagram of Fig. 4.
2.3.2 Connecting to a three-phase pump. For controlling a pump with three-phase motor or
with electricity consumption greater than 10 A, the Kit 00/01 will be connected to the coil of
an auxiliary contactor, following the diagram of Fig. 5.
CONNECTING THE UNIT TO THE MAINS
The electrical connection is made by connecting the cable current plug of the Kit directly into
a household electrical socket, duly protected according to the regulations in force in each
country.
2.4 - Checks prior to first start-up
3 - STARTING
3.1 – Starting the KIT 01 unit
Connect the electricity supply. The voltage indicator (LINE) will light up.
The unit starts automatically. While the pump is running the operating light (RUN) will be lit.
During this operation keep a water-outlet tap open, so as to bleed any air that might be in the

installation. Once the installation has been bled, close the tap and the unit will switch off after
50/60 Hz
10 seconds. Only the voltage indicator (LINE) will remain lit up.

If the pump had not been fully primed on start-up, or if there were no water to supply to

To complete priming of the pump, or to restart the Kit after a fault, press the (RESET) button.

If the motor does not run, or if no water is extracted, try to trace the fault through the list of the

most common faults and the possible solutions for them as set out in the pages which follow.
– Starting the KIT 00 unit
The Kit 00 has to have pressure at the inlet with the pump stopped. (Fig.7)
When the supply switch is moved to ON, the unit will start automatically. During this operation
keep a water-outlet tap open, so as to bleed any air that might be in the installation. Once the
installation has been bled, close the tap and the unit will switch off. If the pump had not been
fully primed on start-up, or if there were no water to supply to it, the pump will stop running.
If the motor does not run, or if no water is extracted, try to trace the fault through the list of the
most common faults and the possible solutions for them as set out in the pages which follow.
– Regulating the start-up pressure for Kit 01
Turn the regulating screw in the desired direction. The starting pressure must be set to a
minimum of 0.2 bar (3 psi) above the static pressure (Fig.2) of the installation, downstream
of the Kit.
– Regulating the start-up pressure for Kit 00
The start-up pressure of the Kit 00 cannot be adjusted.
4 – MAINTENANCE
The Kit 00/01 is maintenance-free.
In periods of sub-zero temperatures, take the precaution of draining the tubes.
CAUTION: Repair work on the Kit should only be carried out by an authorised service centre.
When the time comes to dispose of the pump, this equipment contains no toxic or
contaminating materials. The main components are duly marked so that the pump can be
selectively dismantled to recycle the materials.

Le Kit 00/01 met en marche la pompe quand on ouvre un des robinets de
l'installation. Tant qu'un robinet sera ouvert, le Kit maintiendra la pompe en
fonctionnement.
Quand on ferme les robinets, le Kit 00/01 arrête la pompe.
Sur le Kit 01 la différence entre la pression de démarrage et la pression maximale
de la pompe doit être supérieure à 0,5 bar (7,2 psi).
ATTENTION : Le suivi correct des instructions d'installation et d'emploi, ainsi
que des schémas de branchement électrique, garantit le bon fonctionnement
du Kit.

of * 3 mm. The protection of the system will be based on a circuit-breaker switch

CAUTION: Prior to starting up the unit, ensure that the pump is correctly installed.
For this purpose, follow the pump installation manual.
Check that the pump is completely primed at that there are no leaks from the joints.
HAZARD: This operation may only be carried out by an authorised technician.
The start-up pressure is regulated by turning a screw located inside the Kit (Fig. 6).
Open a tap in the installation and read off the pressure at the time of starting up.
