7. Power Source

We have already mentioned that there may be several codes that enable you to control certain functions of a device.
However, you should remember that there is only 1 code that will enable you to control ALL functions of a device.
This is why you should test all functions BEFORE accepting a code as the right one for a particular device.
Example:
The correct code for a certain model of TV by Toshiba is #139. The key for the functions "CONT+/-" and "COL+/-"
(contrast and colour) for code #139 is "☼+/-".
Code #137 enables you to control the functions POWER and CH+/- en VOL+/-, but not the functions CONT+/- of
COL+/-. Consequently, you should use code #139: it is the only one that allows you to control all functions of this
device.

Dit symbool op het toestel of de verpakking geeft aan dat, als het na zijn levenscyclus wordt weggeworpen,
dit toestel schade kan toebrengen aan het milieu.
Gooi dit toestel (en eventuele batterijen) niet bij het gewone huishoudelijke afval; het moet bij een
gespecialiseerd bedrijf terechtkomen voor recyclage.
U moet dit toestel naar uw verdeler of naar een lokaal recyclagepunt brengen.
Respecteer de plaatselijke milieuwetgeving.
Hebt u vragen, contacteer dan de plaatselijke autoriteiten inzake verwijdering.
Dank u voor uw aankoop! Lees deze handleiding grondig voor u het toestel in gebruik neemt. Werd het toestel
beschadigd tijdens het transport, installeer het dan niet en raadpleeg uw dealer.
2. Toestelcode instellen
Zoek in de bijgevoegde codelijst (zie achteraan het meegeleverde boekje) de correcte code voor het model en het
merk van uw toestel.
Houd SET ingedrukt en druk toesteltoets (TVTXT1, TVTXT2, VCR1, VCR2, SAT/CBL, CBL/SAT of HIFI/CD/LD). De
LED brandt. Geef vervolgens de 3 digits van de code in en druk op POWER. U zou nu alle functies van het gekozen
toestel moeten kunnen bedienen. Lukt dit niet, dan past de code waarschijnlijk niet voor uw toestel. Herhaal deze
procedure met andere codes uit de lijst tot u de juiste vindt.
Wacht niet langer dan 10 seconden om de volgende stap uit te voeren. Met bepaalde codes uit de lijst kunt u een
aantal functies bedienen, maar niet allemaal. We raden u aan om te zoeken tot u de code vindt waarmee u alle
functies van het toestel kunt bedienen.
Druk op een toets om de instelling te verlaten.
