• Avoid the excessive penetration of the working ac-
cessory into the material being processed (for exam-
ple, when loosening the soil or in the course of the
building structures destruction) as the working acces-
sory may become stuck�
• If the working accessory becomes stuck in the
material during the operation, do not attempt to free
it with the use of the power tool as a lever as the
power tool can be damaged� Remove the power tool
from the jammed accessory� Continue the operation
with the use of another accessory in order to release
the jammed one� Note: it is strictly prohibited to
knock out the jammed working accessories or to
swing it and to try to extract it with the use of
foreign tools or objects (pieces of pipe, winches,
jacks, etc.).
Power tool maintenance /
preventive measures
Before carrying out any works on the power tool it
must be disconnected from the mains.
Power tool lubrication (see fig. 22)

The power tool lubricant quantity has to be checked
on a regular basis after every three hours of opera-
tion, as well as after replacing the carbon brushes�
In order to do that, use flange wrench 12 to re-
lease cap 9 (for BH12-40 V unscrew cap 9 by hand),
check the lubricant quantity and add it, if needed�
Greases with a boiling point over 390°С are to be
used�

Before starting operation as well as during operating
it is necessary to check oil level through inspection
window of plug 23� Hold the power tool vertically, and
check the oil level (see fig. 22.1). If the oil level is lower
than 1/3, then necessary to add oil�
• Place the power tool on the flat surface.
• Clean with cloth the area around the plug 23�
• Use the wrench 25 to unscrew the plug 23 (see
fig. 22.2).
• Using lubricator 27 carefully add the motor oil into
power tool as shown on fig. 22.3.
The manufacturer reserves the possibility to introduce changes.

• Use the wrench 25 to screw in the plug 23 (see
fig. 22.3).
Apply only recommended classes motor oil -
SAE30, if power tool operates at tempera-
ture over 10°С, and SAE10, if power tool
operates at temperature lower than 10°С.
Using the power tool without oil or with
insufficient oil volume is prohibited as
this may lead to the power tool being
broken down or can void your right for
warranty repair.
Cleaning of the power tool
An indispensable condition for a safe long-term exploi-
tation of the power tool is to keep it clean� Regularly
flush the power tool with compressed air thought the
ventilation slots 8�
