11. VIBRAZIONI: Se vengono riscontrate vibrazioni anomale in fase di funzionamento della pompa, arrestarla immediatamente e verificare accuratamente lo stato
delle bronzine e del cuscinetto

12. ACCOPPIAMENTO POMPA-MOTORE: Se la pompa è fornita senza motore e/o senza giunto elastico è compito dell'installatore/utilizzatore installare un motore
e/o giunto elastico certificato ed in oltre garantire il corretto allineamento del gruppo secondo le istruzioni di montaggio riportate nel manuale di uso e manutenzione.
Ogni 1000 ore di funzionamento verificare l'allineamento del giunto ed il suo stato di usura.
Verificare periodicamente l'accoppiamento.
Purpose
This document describes how to install, use and maintain the pumps installed in an explosive place, to allow the
conformity to the pumps in object.
The pump's class of temperature is fixed by the max temperature between the pumped liquid's temperature and the auxiliar liquid's
temperature( ex: heating fluid).

1. The pump, subject of this "Addendum εx", is certified ATEX only :
for the service's conditions, and above all, for the working range specified in the order ;
It is not possible to use the pump with liquids, performances and temperatures different from those indicated in the certificate,
the permission of the manufacturer.
- In addition to the operations/recommendations specified in the pump's use and maintenance manual :
2. EARTH: The pump has to be earthed by the earth plate indicated on the base of the pump.

3. LEVEL OF LIQUID IN THE TANK: To warrant always the presence of liquid inside the pump, the installer/user has to install a minimum level sensor in the tank.
The minimum liquid's level has to allow the pump plunge for at least: read the instructions manual.
Install a sensor of minimum level.
4. COMPLEMENTARY INSTRUCTIONS: Supplementary components and apparatus, such as the motor, the coupling, the mechanical seal, etc. have to be used
following the relevant manuals of instructions, enclosed with the pumps' documents.
Read the enclosed complementary instructions (coupling, mechanical seal, etc...)
5. BEARINGS' MAINTANANCE : Pump's bearings life is about 12000 hours, after this period they have to be replaced.
Bearings have a lubricator, so they need a periodic maintenance.
6. BUSHES' MAINTANANCE: Pump's bushes life is about 12000 hours, after this period they have to be replaced.
If the flushing is made by an external line, the installer/user has to connect a flow indicator, or a flowmeter and/or a pressure indicator to the line, to allow a constant
flow of liquid.
If the flushing is guaranteed by the lubricant inside the column, the user has to check every week this level. If he finds a liquid's decrease higher than 5 cm, he must
change the mechanical seal towards the impeller.
Check periodically bearings and bushes.
7. SINGLE MECHANICAL SEAL FLUSH: Mechanical seal's lubrication towards the impeller is guaranteed by the liquid inside the tank.
When it is expected an external flow, the installer/user has to arrange a visual flushing indicator or a flowmeter and/or pressure indicator, to allow a constant liquid's
flow, while the pump is working.
8. DOUBLE MECHANICAL SEAL FLUSH OR PACKED SEAL: In some particular cases, always specified in the order, it is necessary to install a double
mechanical seal with a flushing line. The installer/user has to arrange on the line a flow indicator, or a flowmeter and/or a pressure indicator, to warrant a constant
flow of liquid. You have always to follow the constructor's advices.
Start the pump only after opening the valve of the flushing line and checking liquid flow to the mechanical seal.
9. SENSORS: In some particular cases, always specified in the order, it is necessary to connect to the pump some sensors, as level, flow, pressure, temperature,
suitable to be installed in a classified ATEX place. The installer/user has to connect these sensors to the board, because they must stop the pump in case of bad
working.
Start the pump only after checking the sensors condition.
10. VESSEL FULL OF LUBRICANT: In some cases, where the seal is flushed by a vessel, the installer/user has to fill this with lubricant fluid, compatible with the
classified zone, the pumped liquid, the material of the pump and the seal. The installer/user has also to arrange connections with the seal. Besides, he has to verify
periodically the presence of the liquid inside the vessel and the value of the pressure fixed by the constructor. The surface temperature of the vessel is subject to the
use conditions and external temperature: check that it does not exceed the values fixed by the zone's classification.
Start the pump only after filling the vessel, checking the flow pressure and sensors condition.
11. VIBRATION: If the user notices anomalous vibrations, he has to stop immediately the pump and check bearings and bushes' condition.
