Note
The plain-bearing guide of the ELGA-TB-G does not require lubrication.
For lubrication of the toothed belt axis with roller bearing guide ELGA-TB-RF:
Note
The lubrication interval S
• Halve the lubrication interval S
– dusty and dirty environment
– nominal strokes 2000 mm
– speeds 2 m/s
– positioning profile: Z delta operation (frequent acceleration and braking)
– ambient temperatures 40 °C
– product has been in operation for 3 years.
If more than one of the above criteria are met, the normal lubrication interval must be
divided by four.
1. Calculate the load comparison factor fv with
the help of the formula for combined loads
(

ricating interval S

2. Lubricate the roller bearing guide at all
lubrication holes aB (permissible oil
accessories).
For checking the cover band:
• Every 2000 km operating distance, check whether the cover band has waves.
Waves on the cover band are a sign for wear of the band reverser.
• In case of wave formation, tighten the cover band as follows:
1. Loosen screws aE.
2. Shift the cover band into the end cap.
3. Retighten the screws with 2 Nm.
If the cover band can no longer be retightened, the wear of the band reversers is too great and they
must be replaced (
