Never apply the service jack at an angle.
Position the service jack in such a way that it cannot be operated from underneath the vehicle.
This service jack is only a lifting tool. Never work under the vehicle if it has not been secured by additional safety measures, for example, support
frames and chocks, to prevent slippage and rolling.
Only lift the vehicle at the intended positions. Centre the saddle at the lifting point, before lifting the vehicle.
Only position the service jack at suitable, manufacturer defined, lifting points, otherwise there is a risk of damages/accidents!
When lifting the vehicle, make sure that no fuel, battery fluid or other hazardous substances are able to exit.
When lifting, there should be no one inside the vehicle.
Do not load the service jack beyond the specified maximum payload.
Never modify the settings of the safety valve.
Do not use the service jack if you have found any damages. Do not take the device apart and do not attempt any repairs of your own. Taking it
apart may lead to subsequent faults and defects. There is a risk of accident! Have the device maintained by a specialist.
Make sure that there are no persons or objects under the vehicle before lowering.
Avoid jerky motion to prevent damages to the vehicle and the service jack.
The temperature of the hydraulic oil may not exceed 60 °C.

5.4 Lifting a vehicle

1.
Secure the vehicle to prevent it from rolling away (engage gear, set automatics to „P", activate parking brake, put
wedges in front of the wheels).
2.
Close the drainage valve by inserting the mid-section of the pump lever onto the knob of the drainage valve and
rotate clockwise as far as it will go.
3.
Position the service jack under the vehicle in such a way that the hydraulic jack is located centrally under the mounting
point of the vehicle (for more information, consult the manual of your vehicle). Rotate the extension spindle (Position
2 in the overview)anti-clockwise and extend (Figure 5) until it makes contact with the mounting point of the vehicle.
4.
Insert the pump lever into the lever mount and pump several times until the hydraulic jack has securely gripped the
vehicle lifting mount. Check to make sure it is securely seated. Now lift the vehicle by continuing to pump until the
