• Before working on the vehicle electrics it is
imperative that you disconnect the vehicle
battery – there is a risk of short circuit.
• Electrical and mechanical installation on
the vehicle must be carried out correctly.
Incorrect installation can cause short circuits or
invalidate the type approval
IMPORTANT!
Risk of damage
• The electrical cables must not be under any
tension, even when the handlebar is at full
lock. They must be routed in such a way that
they cannot chafe, and they must not kink. If
necessary, use a cable sheath or a rubber cable
feed-through.
• Any resistors that are installed may heat
up during use and therefore must not be
installed in the direct vicinity of heat-sensitive
components or in closed housings. Depending
on how long they remain switched on, the turn
signals may reach temperatures of +80°C or
more. Only use resistors which have a heat sink.
• The turn signal must never be installed in front
of the exhaust port or in the hot exhaust gas
stream.
