4.7 DEPOSITION OF THE SEED
4.7.1 PLANTING UNIT
N.B.: the pointer of the adjustment scale is purely progres-
sive; it does not show a variation in cm on the height of the
side wheels.
Min. 110 Kg
Moving from a notch and the other of the adjustment scale cor-
responds to a variation of the load of approximately 2.5 kg.
N.B.: the adjustment scale index (7, Fig. 26) is purely pro-
gressive and does not, under any circumstances, indicate a
variation in kilograms.
IMPORTANT! As the load on the spring increases the drive
wheels may loose adhesion with consequent repercussion
on the seeding quality.
It may be necessary to ballast the load-bearing frame.
4.7.2 REAR COVERING WHEELS
NOTE: After centring the covering wheels, ensure that the wheels
are all resting on the ground at the same time («SI», Fig.
28) and with the same pressure.
