Installation instructions
3.1 Assigning the AS-i address
We recommend that you use the Festo addresser ASI-PRG-
ADR (part no. 18959) with adapter cable (part no. 18960 or
Siemens PSG).
Before connecting an AS-i slave to the bus, you should assign a
non-reserved AS-i address to each AS-i slave. Set the desired
address with the AS-i addresser. The permitted address range
is 1 ... 31.
PLEASE NOTE
The AS-i address of the valve terminal with AS interface
type CPV..-GE-ASI-4E4A-... is stored electronically (no
battery) after every modification and can be modified up to
10 times. After that the valve terminal maintains the last set
AS-i address.
Please note:

The factory setting of the terminal is address 00
(AS-i address can be modified up to 10 times).

It is not necessary to parametrize the AS-i slaves.
