Use the Quick set up for fast installation. The unit leads the operator through the
selection of the most important parameters step by step (changes and optimising
settings can always be done later in Detail set up). On request the unit can also
automatically recognise the most commonly used input signals (time needed approx
30 sec.)
Attention: Please take note of the message displayed on the screen and also check
the selected measurement range.
If everything is OK after running the Quick set up, then the unit has been installed with
the least amount of effort.
It is as simple as this:
• Call main menu by operating the "E" push button.
• Select "Quick set up" in the main menu.
• Decide whether the unit is to automatically recognise the signals connected.
• Set up date, time and standard feed rate.
• Select the input signal, measurement type and engineering units per channel used.
• Once Quick set up has been closed all settings are stored. Finished.
Format dependent on operating language, see help text in unit (e.g.
Actual date
DD.MM.YY)
Actual time
Format: hh:mm, 24 hour clock
Indicates how fast the recording is updated or stored. Is compared to the
Standard feed
paper feed speed of a normal recorder (typically 20 mm/h).
Individually selectable per channel. Also see "Connections/terminal layout"
and "Technical data". Hints: When directly connecting a thermocouple the
Signal
cold junction compensation point is always set to "internal". When selecting
an RTD the measurement range is preset by the type used. Select the signal
range that is to be displayed or recorded using "Zoom start" and "Zoom end".
