Opening procedure for lateral passages
To allow the passage of cables, remove, with the help of a screwdriver,
the precut parts of the chassis of the external unit.
To effectively remove the material, keep the front panel of the unit
installed.
Prior to the passage of the cables, place the black grommets provided
within the document envelope.
Removal of frontal panel
Remove the screws that block the frontal panel
Pull the panel forward and down, grabbing the handle
Condensation drain pipe and pre-cut holes on the base
of the outdoor
If the drainage is ensured by the condensate drain pipe, connect the
hose (3) and use a tube (inner diameter 16 mm), available on the
market.
If the appliance is installed in a very cold place, where there are abun-
dant snowfall or in conditions where it is expected that the discharge
pipe could freeze, it is required to check the capacity of the conden-
sate drain pipe.
The evacuation capacity increases if the pre-cut holes present at the
base of the outdoor unit act as a condensate drain tray (open all the
holes through the aid of a hammer (4).

Connection of the 3 bar safety valve
The safety valve located at the bottom right tray of the unit must be
connected in correspondence of the outputs shown in the fi gure (2).

Before any maintenance or repair work performed on the ap-
pliance, make sure you have disconnected it from the electri-
city supply by disconnecting the main switch.
All repairs, which should only be performed using original spare parts,
should be carried out by a qualifi ed professional. Failure to comply with
the above instructions could compromise the safety of the appliance
and invalidate all liability on the part of the manufacturer.
Clean using a cloth dampened with soapy water. Do not use aggres-
sive detergents, insecticides or toxic products. If the appliances used
in full compliance with current legislation, it will operate in a
safe, environmentally-friendly and cost-effi cient manner.
If using kits or optional extras, make sure they are authentic.
Regulatory conditions of installation and maintenance
The installation and maintenance of the appliance must be performed
by a qualifi ed technician in accordance with applicable rules and accor-
ding to rule of art in relation to:
• Training for refrigeration
• Departmental Health Regulations
• NF (for devices with connections to the main supply net)
• Regulation in Low Voltage Electrical Installations
Choice of positioning
The internal unit FSP must be positioned in an housing to ensure the
best performance.
Minimum clearance
In order to allow the proper maintenance of the appliance, you must
observe the minimum clearances for installation as shown in the fi -
gures below.
To position the unit properly, use the template provided and a spirit
level.
