3. Product description

3.1. Scope of delivery

● Single-component sauna control unit
● Heater sensor with integrated excess temperature fuse

3.2. Product functions

The sauna control unit K1 Next is used for operating and controlling sauna heaters
in the temperature range spanning 40 °C to 125 °C above the heater. The sauna
control functions via a single sensor system and has an excess temperature fuse
with a shut-off temperature of 139 °C above the heater.
If the sauna room temperature is lower than the preset temperature, the sauna
control unit switches on the sauna heater. The sauna heater heats up. If the
sauna room temperature exceeds the preset temperature, the sauna control unit
switches off the sauna heater. The sauna heater will not heat up again until the
sauna room temperature falls below the preset temperature.
For safety reasons, the heating period limit automatically switches off the sauna
control unit after a heating period of 6 hours. To start up the sauna control unit
again, follow the instructions in section 10.1. Exceeding heating period on
page 16.
