during the entire descaling procedure.
2. Fully open the saturated steam control (7)
and steam control (8).
3. Switch on the unit (1) Abb. von der Folie plat-
zieren and deactivate the heating (2) Abb.
von der Folie platzieren
4. Hold the unit over a washbasin.
Ensure that the drain valve (13) is over the
washbasin. Leave the steam handpiece on the
edge of the washbasin, as water or steam
escapes from the nozzle during descaling.
5. Start the automatic descaling programme
press the ON/OFF key (1) for 5 sec with the unit
switched on. All the LEDs on the pressure
indicator (6) light up and the red bars start to
flash.
6. Empty the unit:
Remove the water tank (9). Hold the steam
handpiece in the washbasin and press the
steam button (12) until no more steam or water
comes out. Open the drain valve (13). Activate
the pump to empty the unit by pressing the
steam key (12) until no more water comes out
of the boiler. Then close the drain valve (13)
again and press the heating key (2) Abb. von
der Folie platzieren 1x briefly to ensure the
tank is empty. The flashing LEDs go out when
the tank is empty.
7. Empty any residual water from the water tank
(9) and add AmannGirrbach descaler concen-
trate in a ratio of 1:5 (1 bottle of descaler: 5
bottles of lukewarm water) to the tank. Replace
the water tank. The unit automatically pumps
the descaling solution into the boiler. Water
may come out of the steam handpiece during
this procedure.
8. Descaling requires approx. 1 h and the process
can be followed on the green LEDs of the
F
pressure indicator (6). Descaling is complete
as soon as all the green bars go out and the
orange bars flash
9. After descaling is complete, empty the unit ->
see section 6.

10. Rinsing:
empty any residual descaling solution from the
water tank, rinse the water tank and fill with
clean water. Replace the tank on the unit. The
unit now pumps the clean water into the boiler.
11. After filling it with clean water, empty the unit
again to rinse it -> see section 6.
12. The descaling programme is complete when
all the LEDs on the pressure indicator (6) go
out. To end the descaling programme press
the ON/OFF key (1) for 5 sec. Three acoustic
signals confirm that the programme has ended.
Switch on the Steamer Plus and fill the water
tank in the usual way. As soon as the unit has
filled the boiler to maximum, press the steam
E : button (12) briefly to reduce the excess pres
sure built up during filling. After the unit has
been heated up, it is ready again for operation.
CAUTION! After the descaling programme
has started, all other functions of the unit
are shut off. Do not disconnect the unit from
the mains supply or the descaling procedure
will not be properly completed or stored.
