Description of function
The channel extension has two channels and can be operated via a display (Fig. 1/ ) with four control

buttons (Fig. 1/ ) The channel extension is installed on a DIN rail (Fig. 1/ ) by means of a click

system; the channel extension activates the connected device. The radio signal frequency is 2.4 GHz
and the maximum transmission power is 1.8 mW.
The DIN-rail timer provides two channels: Channel 1/2. In addition, up to three channel extensions
can be connected to the DIN-rail timer to provide the following channels: channel 3/4, channel 5/6,
channel 7/8.
Interface
The configured programmes are sent from the DIN-rail timer to the channel extension via the Blue-
tooth connection. The channel extension automatically synchronises the date and time when there is
an active connection to the DIN-rail timer.
