3 Einsatzmöglichkeiten und Zubehör
Der TXA-730CD ist eine Kombination aus Lautspre-
cherbox, Stereoverstärker mit drei Eingangskanälen,
Empfangsteil für ein Funkmikrofon (Übertragungsfre-
quenz 863,05 MHz) und CD-Spieler. Das Gerät ist
speziell für einen netzunabhängigen Betrieb ausge-
legt. Zur Stromversorgung ist ein Akkumulator inte-
griert, der durch die Ladeautomatik aufgeladen wird,
sobald der TXA-730CD mit dem Stromnetz verbun-
den ist. Dadurch eignet sich das Gerät ideal für den
mobilen Einsatz zur Beschallung bei Veranstaltun-
gen, Vorträgen etc.
Für den Stereobetrieb wird zusätzlich eine passive
4-Ω-Lautsprecherbox benötigt (z. B. das im Design
passende Modell TXB-700 von MONACOR). Die Ein-
gangskanäle lassen sich folgendermaßen nutzen:
Kanal 1 für ein Funkmikrofon
Kanal 2 für ein kabelgebundenes Mikrofon oder
für ein Audiogerät mit Line-Ausgang (z. B.
Tuner, Tape-Deck, MD-Recorder)
Kanal 3 für den integrierten CD-Spieler oder für ein
Audiogerät mit Line-Ausgang

As the colours of the wires in the mains lead of this
appliance may not correspond with the coloured
markings identifying the terminals in your plug,
proceed as follows:
1. The wire which is coloured green and yellow
must be connected to the terminal in the plug
which is marked with the letter E or by the earth
symbol
, or coloured green or green and
yellow.
2. The wire which is coloured blue must be con-
nected to the terminal which is marked with the
letter N or coloured black.
3. The wire which is coloured brown must be con-
nected to the terminal which is marked with the
letter L or coloured red.

If the unit is to be put out of operation
definitively, take it to a local recycling
plant for a disposal which is not harmful
to the environment.
3 Applications and Accessories
The TXA-730CD is a combination of speaker sys-
tem, stereo amplifier with three input channels, re-
ceiving part for a wireless microphone (transmission
frequency 863.05 MHz), and CD player. The unit is
especially designed for an operation independent of
the mains. For the power supply, a rechargeable bat-
tery is integrated which can be charged with the
automatic charging as soon as the TXA-730CD is
connected to the mains. Thus, the unit is ideally suit-
ed for mobile PA applications at events, lectures, etc.
For the stereo operation in addition a passive 4 Ω
speaker system is required (e. g. model TXB-700
from MONACOR of matching design). The input
channels can be used as follows:

3.1 Zulassung
Die Zulassung für das Gerät ist nach der R + TTE-
Richtlinie (Radio and Telecommunication Technical
Equipment) in den Staaten der Europäischen Union
gültig. Die Zulassungsnummer ist in den techni-
schen Daten angegeben. Für den Betrieb in Staaten
außerhalb der EU fragen Sie bitte Ihren Fachhänd-
ler oder die MONACOR-Niederlassung des entspre-
chenden Landes.
In der Bundesrepublik Deutschland ist die Fre-
quenz 863,05 MHz für den Betrieb von drahtlosen
Audio-Übertragungssystemen freigegeben. Da diese
Frequenz in anderen Ländern der EU für diesen An-
wendungszweck möglicherweise nicht zur Verfü-
gung steht, informieren Sie sich vor dem Betrieb des
Gerätes außerhalb Deutschlands bitte bei Ihrem
Fachhändler oder bei der entsprechenden Behörde
des Landes.
4 Inbetriebnahme
4.1 Aufstellung des Gerätes
Der TXA-730CD kann frei aufgestellt oder über die
Stativhülse auf der Geräteunterseite auf ein PA-
Boxen-Stativ (z. B. PAST-Serie aus dem Sortiment
von MONACOR) gesteckt werden.
Für den Betrieb muss das Gerät nicht aus der
mitgelieferten Transporttasche herausgenommen
werden. Jedoch dürfen die Lüftungsöffnungen (14)
nicht verdeckt sein. Durch Öffnen der Reißver-
schlüsse sind alle Anschlüsse und Bedienelemente
zugänglich. Die so gelösten Taschenteile können
hochgeklappt und am Klettverschluss fixiert werden.

3.1 Approval
According to the R + TTE directive (Radio and Tele-
communication Technical Equipment) the approval of
the unit is valid in the countries of the European Union.
The approval number is indicated in the specifications.
For the operation in countries outside the EU, please
contact your retailer or the MONACOR subsidiary in
the country where this system will be operated.
In the Federal Republic of Germany, the frequen-
cy of 863.05 MHz has been approved for the opera-
tion of wireless audio transmission systems. As it is
possible that this frequency is not available for this
field of application in other countries of the EU,
please contact your retailer or the corresponding au-
thorities of the particular country prior to operating
this system outside the Federal Republic of Germany.
4 Setting into Operation
4.1 Setting up the unit
The TXA-730CD can be placed as desired or be
mounted to a PA speaker cabinet stand (e. g. PAST

Während des Ladens kann das Gerät betrieben
werden, jedoch steht nicht die volle Leistung zur
Verfügung, solange die rote LED „< 25 %" (23)
leuchtet. Der Ladevorgang verkürzt sich, wenn
das Gerät mit dem Schalter POWER (24) ausge-
schaltet ist.
3) Ist der Akku voll geladen, leuchtet die Ladekon-
trolle CHARGE grün. Bei maximaler Lautstärke
ist dann eine netzunabhängige Betriebsdauer
von bis zu 8 Stunden möglich. Bei einer geringe-
ren Lautstärke verlängert sich die Betriebsdauer.
4) Der Akku sollte wieder geladen werden, wenn die
rote LED „< 25 %" aufleuchtet.
5) Durch die Ladeautomatik kann der Akku nicht
überladen werden. Jedoch sollte der Netzstecker
aus der Steckdose gezogen werden, wenn der
Akku voll geladen ist (Anzeige CHARGE leuchtet
grün) und das Gerät längere Zeit nicht benötigt
wird. Anderenfalls wird auch bei ausgeschalte-
tem Gerät stets ein geringer Strom verbraucht.
4.3 Anschlüsse herstellen
4.3.1 Mikrofon
Ein kabelgebundenes Mikrofon lässt sich über einen
XLR-Stecker an die Buchse XLR-MIC 2 (8) an-
schließen.
4.3.2 Audiogeräte
Bis zu zwei Audiogeräte mit Line-Ausgang, z. B. CD-
Spieler, Tape-Deck, lassen sich anschließen. Vorran-
gig sollte dafür der Stereokanal 3 verwendet werden,
weil dieser automatisch bei einer Mikrofondurchsage
in der Lautstärke abgesenkt werden kann.
Anschluss:
Kanal 2 über die 6,3-mm-Klinkenbuchse JACK-
LINE INPUT (8), wenn kein Mikrofon diesen
Kanal belegt (Wiedergabe nur monofon)
Hinweis: Beim Anschluss eines Stereo-Ge-
rätes an diese Buchse einen Stereo-Mono-
series from the MONACOR product range) via the
stand sleeve on the lower side of the unit.
For the operation the unit need not be taken out
of the supplied transport bag. However, the ventila-
tion slots (14) must not be covered. By opening the
zip-fasteners all connections and operating ele-
ments are accessible. The parts of the bag opened
up can be folded upwards and fixed at the velcro
fastener.

2) The charging control LED CHARGE (23) lights
up:
red = the rechargeable battery is being charged
green = the charging procedure is terminated
During charging, the unit can be operated, how-
ever, the full power is not available as long as the
red LED "< 25 %" (23) lights up. The charging
procedure is shortened if the unit is switched off
with the POWER switch (24).
3) If the rechargeable battery is fully charged, the
charging control LED CHARGE shows green.
With the maximum volume an operating time
independent of the mains of up to 8 hours is pos-
sible. With a lower volume, the operating time will
be extended.
4) The rechargeable battery should be recharged if
the red LED "< 25 %" lights up.
5) By the automatic charging the rechargeable bat-
tery cannot be overcharged. However, the mains
plug should be disconnected from the mains
socket if the rechargeable battery is fully charged
(indication CHARGE shows green) and the unit is
not used for a longer time. Otherwise, even with
the unit switched off, there will always be a low
current consumption.
