Einsatzmöglichkeiten und Zubehör
Diese Aktivbox ist eine Kombination aus Laut spre -

cherbox und Verstärker mit drei mischbaren Eingän-
CH
gen. Ein Empfangsteil für ein Funkmikrofon (Über-
tragungsfrequenz 863,05 MHz) und ein MP3-Recor -
der (Modell DPR-10) sind eingebaut. Es lassen sich
sowohl Mikrofone als auch Audiogeräte mit Line-
Ausgang (z. B. Mischpult, CD-Player) anschließen.
Aus dem Sortiment von MONACOR können z. B.

Das Gerät ist speziell für einen netzunabhängigen
Be trieb ausgelegt. Zur Stromversorgung ist ein
Akkumulator integriert, der mit dem beiliegenden
Ladegerät aufgeladen wird. Dadurch eignet sich das
Gerät ideal für den mobilen Einsatz zur Beschallung
bei Veranstaltungen, Vorträgen etc. Über einen
Line-Ausgang lässt sich das Mischsignal einem wei-
teren Verstärkersystem zuführen.

Aufstellung
Die Box kann frei aufgestellt oder über die Stativ hül -
se auf ihrer Unterseite auf ein PA-Boxen-Stativ
montiert werden. Für den Betrieb muss die Box nicht
aus der mitgelieferten Transporttasche herausge-
nommen werden: Die Reißverschlüsse öffnen, das
vordere und das hintere Taschenteil nach oben
klappen und über ihre Klettverschlüsse fixieren.

If the units are to be put out of operation
definitively, take them to a local recycling
plant for a disposal which is not harmful to
the environment.

Applications and Accessories
This active system is a combination of a speaker
system and an amplifier with three mixable inputs.
A receiving part for a wireless microphone (trans-
mission frequency 863.05 MHz) and an MP3 re-
corder (model DPR-10) are integrated. Both micro-
phones and audio units with line output (e. g. mixer,
CD player) may be connected.
From the MONACOR product range, e. g. the follow-

The unit is specially designed for mains-independ-
ent operation. For power supply, a battery is inte-
grated which will be recharged with the supplied
charger. Thus, the unit is ideally suited for mobile PA
applications at events, lectures, etc. Via a line output
the mixed signal can be passed on to another ampli-
fier system.

Stromversorgung /Akku aufladen
Das Gerät wird über einen eingebauten Blei-Gel-
Akkumulator (12 V/ 7Ah) betrieben. Zum Laden des
Akkus nur das mitgelieferte Ladegerät verwenden,
da dieses optimal auf den verwendeten Akku abge-
stimmt ist. Die Box muss zum Laden nicht einge-
schaltet sein, kann aber auch während des Ladens
betrieben werden.
Um Beschädigungen des Akkus durch Tiefentla-
dung zu vermeiden und eine Reduzierung seiner

2) Die LED CHARGE (13) leuchtet während des La -
dens rot. Der Ladezustand des Akkus wird durch
eine der drei LEDs darunter (14) angezeigt:
— die grüne LED leuchtet, wenn der Akku mehr
als 75 % geladen ist
— die gelbe LED leuchtet bei mittlerer Ladung
— die rote LED leuchtet, wenn der Akku weniger
als 25 % geladen ist
3) Am Ende des Ladevorgangs wechselt die LED
CHARGE auf Grün. Nach dem Aufladen das
Ladegerät immer von der Netzsteckdose und von
der Box trennen, um eine Beschädigung des
Akkus durch Überladung auszuschließen.

Setting Up
Place the speaker system as desired or mount it
onto a stand for PA speaker systems via the stand
sleeve on its lower side. For operation, it will not be
necessary to remove the speaker system from the
transport bag provided. Open the zip fasteners, fold
up the front part and the rear part of the bag
upwards and fix them via their Velcro fasteners.

Power Supply / Recharging the Battery
The unit is operated via an integrated rechargeable
lead gel battery (12 V/7 Ah). To charge the battery,
only use the supplied charger, as this is ideally suited
for the battery used. For charging, it will not be neces-
sary to switch on the speaker system; however, it can
be operated as usual during the charging process.
Please observe the following notes to prevent
damage to the battery by deep discharge and to
avoid a reduction of its life:
1. Always fully recharge the battery prior to initial
operation and after longer storage.

Audioanschlüsse
1) Es lassen sich zwei Ton quellen jeweils an die
Eingangsbuchse (1) für Kanal 1 und an die
Eingangsbuchse (7) für Kanal 2 anschließen:
— Mikrofone über XLR-Stecker anschließen
— Audiogeräte
mit
Line-Signalpegel

6,3-mm-Klinken stecker anschließen. Für ein
Stereo-Gerät
einen
Stereo-Mono-Adapter
verwenden, anderenfalls wird nur der linke
Kanal wiedergegeben.
Ein weiteres Audiogerät mit Line-Signalpegel
kann an den Eingang INPUT 3 (4) angeschlossen
werden. Beim An schluss beider Cinch-Buchsen
(z. B. Stereosignal von einem CD-Spieler) wird
aus den Signalen die Summe (Mono) gebildet.
Hinweise
a) Bei Verwendung eines Funkmikrofons belegt die-
ses Kanal 1. Ist eine Tonquelle an Kanal 1 ange-
schlossen, wird das Signal des Funkmikrofons dem
Eingangssignal von Kanal 1 zugemischt.
b) Bei gleichzeitiger Verwendung eines am Eingang
INPUT 3 angeschlossenen Audiogeräts und des
integrierten MP3-Recorders erhält der Verstärker
über den gemeinsamen Lautstärke regler (6) das
Mischsignal von beiden.
2) Das Ausgangssignal der Box steht an den Cinch-
Buchsen LINE OUTPUT (5) zur Verfügung. Hier
kann ein weiteres Verstärkersystem oder ein
Aufnahme gerät angeschlossen werden.
3) An

6,3-mm-Klinkenbuchse
SPEAKERS (9) kann parallel zum internen Laut-
sprecher ein Zusatzlautsprecher mit einer Min-
destimpedanz von 8 Ω angeschlossen werden.

3) At the end of the charging process the LED
CHARGE will change to green. After charging,
always disconnect the charger from the mains
socket and from the speaker system to prevent
damage to the battery by overcharge.

Audio Connections
1) The system will allow connection of two audio
sources: one to the input jack (1) for channel 1
and one to the input jack (7) for channel 2.
– Connect microphones via XLR plugs.
– Connect audio units with line signal level (e. g.
mixer, CD player, radio, tape deck) via 6.3 mm
plugs. For a stereo unit, use a stereo-to-mono
adapter; otherwise only the left channel will be
reproduced.
Another audio unit with line signal level may be
connected to the INPUT 3 (4). When connecting
both phono jacks (e. g. stereo signal of a CD
player), the sum (mono) is created from the sig-
nals.
Notes
a) If a wireless microphone is used, it will reserve
channel 1; if an audio source is connected to chan-
nel 1, the signal of the wireless microphone will be
added to the input signal of channel 1.
b) When using an audio unit connected to INPUT 3
and the integrated MP3 recorder at the same time,
the amplifier receives the mixed signal of both via
the common volume control (6).
2) The output signal of the system is available at the
LINE OUTPUT [phono jacks] (5). Here another
amplifier system or a recorder may be con-
nected.
3) It is possible to connect an additional speaker
with a minimum impedance of 8 Ω to the 6.3 mm
jack STANDARD SPEAKERS (9) in parallel to
the internal speaker.
