9. Leg één hand op het deksel om het op het werkvlak te houden en neem de handgreep
stevig vast met de andere hand.
10. De eerste trekbeweging moet krachtig en snel worden uitgevoerd. Voer deze
beweging altijd horizontaal uit.
11. Hou vast terwijl het trekmechanisme volledig afrolt en laat niet los.
12. Forceer niets als de messen van de draaischroef blokkeren. Verwijder de draaischroef
om de voeding voorzichtig weg te nemen en snij ze in kleinere stukken alvorens de
draaischroef terug te plaatsen. Let er altijd op de messen op één lijn te zetten om het
beschikbare volume te maximaliseren.
13. Dankzij de transparante kom kunt u zien hoe fijn er wordt gesneden. Blijf aan de
handgreep trekken tot de voeding fijn genoeg is. Hou rekening met ongeveer 5
trekbewegingen voor een eerste hakniveau, maar dit hangt ook af van het type van
voeding.
Reiniging
Alle onderdelen mogen in de vaatwasser, met uitzondering van het deksel, dat moet
worden afgewassen met de hand of met een spons. Maak het treksnoer niet nat, dus
dompel het niet onder in water.
Als het toch gebeurt dat er water in het deksel dringt, is dit deksel in de bodem voorzien
van een afvoer. U moet deze gewoon losschroeven met een muntstuk en leeggieten.
Laat dan enkele uren drogen. Schroef de afvoer er weer op zodra het deksel droog is.
Schroef geen andere onderdelen van het deksel los, om verwondingen te voorkomen.
Om een langere levensduur van het product te garanderen, wordt aanbevolen om de
draaischroef met de hand af te wassen. Let hierbij heel goed op, want de messen zijn
vlijmscherp!

Steek het onderste hakmes van de draaischroef in zijn beschermhoes. Laat de plastic as
op het tweede hakmes vervolgens draaien tot het mes correct is geplaatst en druk erop
om het in de beschermhoes te steken. Let erop u niet te verwonden aan de vlijmscherpe
messen. De gaten voor de messen zijn niet scherp - fig. F

In order to get an optimal result, fill in half the container with pre-cut pieces without
skin.
Do not use the appliance with meat with bones, you would definitely damage the
blades.
Do not use puree balde -fig X-, sauce blade -figY-, essential blade -fig W- with ice, you
would definitely damage the blades. The Ice crusher blade -fig Z- are the only one to be
used safely with ice.
However, most fruits, vegetables, nuts, aromatic herbs and other food can be chopped
with the Tefal® INGENIO® 5 SECONDS.

This appliance must be used only on the TEFAL® INGENIO® 5 SECONDS Chopper 900ml.
This appliance should never be used by children or by people with a disability which
would prevent them from using it safely.
This appliance is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children.
Use the appliance on a stable and dry working surface.
Avoid filling in more than half the container. - fig. B
Set the locking system when closing the bowl.
The high quality blades of the cutting rotor are extremely sharp. Be very careful to
protect your fingers when you use them. Gloves are recommended.
Always use the cutting rotors in the adapted container with the lid closed.
This appliance is conceived for solid ingredients. The puree and sauce blades -fig X and
fid Y- can be used with liquids.
Do not operate the appliance if :
- the container is empty
- the blades of the cutting rotor are damaged
- there is visible damage on the appliance or it is not functioning properly
- if the mechanism is blocked.
Always store the cutting rotors in their protective case, when you do not use the
appliance.
This product is designed for household use and not professional use.
If it is used for professional purposes, the warranty will be void and no liability will be
assumed.
