c) Initiating Search for Outdoor Sensor Signal
When the weather station does not find the outdoor sensor(s) or if you have bought a second
or third outdoor sensor as an accessory and want to subsequently log it on to the weather
station, manual search for the available outdoor sensors can be started at the weather station.
The weather station can assess and display the measured data of up to 3 outdoor
sensors (one outdoor sensor is included in the delivery; others can be ordered as
accessories).
Each outdoor sensor must be registered on a different transmission channel. Set the
slider (17) in the battery compartment of the outdoor sensors accordingly.
If only one outdoor sensor is used, set it to channel 1.
Proceed as follows:
• To start sensor search, keep the button „CHANNEL" pushed for 3 seconds. The weather
station then emits a sound signal.
• Dashes flash in the area of the display of the outdoor sensor's measured data (upper right
in the display). All outdoor sensors previously registered were deleted.
The weather station now searches for the available outdoor sensors' signals for about 3
minutes. Do not move the weather station during this time and do not press any button.
To accelerate recognition, briefly push the button „TX" (16) in the outdoor sensor's
battery compartment.
This manually sends a data package with the measured values.
The transmission LED (14) of the outdoor sensor flashes briefly when a data package
is transferred.
If the outdoor sensor is not found, check its batteries; place the outdoor sensor in
another location, lower the distance between the weather station and the outdoor
sensor.
