Place the half-shells, which you have dis-
mantled, loosely into their relevant posi-
tions with the aid of the coupling screws.

Push the y-axis to the hub centre.
If the slides are offset:
S
Push both slides to the same axis position.
In this way you can compensate for any possible distortion.

Tighten the coupling screws of the divided hub.
Make sure they are symmetrically clamped to an equal degree.

Commissioning
Note
Fast rotating shafts contain high energy.
S Make sure that nobody can touch the rotating KSK-... and that no objects can
brush against it (by providing e.g. a protective screen or covers).
Otherwise this could lead to serious injury in the form of burns.
S
Make sure that the documentation concerning the planning of your multi-axis
system is available.
The rotational speeds, slide speeds, fitting tolerances and slide offset must
not exceed the maximum permitted values for your constellation (see also the
chapter Characteristic curves).

Start a test run at low speed.
