3 Commissioning
3.1 Mounting
The AMS 3xxi
plane-parallel, flat walls or system parts.
• Fastening with M5 screws. Secure the screws with a toothed lock washer to protect
against loosening caused by vibrations. Make sure the line-of-sight between the AMS
and reflector is interuption-free!
• Reflector mounting: The reflector is mounted on a vertical wall with 4 screws (M5).
The reflector is angled using the included shims. Incline the reflector by approx. 1°.
• Align the laser light spot in the center of the reflector with the help of two M5 screws
with hexagon socket ("A"). Secure with knurled nut and SW 4 ("B") lock nut.
• Observe minimum assembly distances: AMS - AMS: Min. parallel spacing of adjacent
laser light spot = 100mm + (max. measurement distance in mm x 0.01).
DDLS 200 - AMS: 100mm.
Commissioning with factory settings
• Connect voltage supply, if necessary switching inputs/outputs, service interface and
host/bus interface.
• Switch on operating voltage, LED PWR must illuminate green.
