FUNCTIONINGS

Functioning Warnings:
Before any operations, remove any obstacles from the lift operating area.
During lifting and lowering phases, personnel is not allowed to stand on the sides of the
lift, underneath it or on the platforms .
Avoid lifting vehicles with a weight exceeding the maximum allowed lifting weight .
When placing the vehicle on the platforms make sure that the vehicles has its handbrake
inserted.
Pay attention to the platforms synchronization.
If anomalies occur stop immediately every operations, check and solve the problem.
Before activate the safety devices, make sure that the platforms are aligned.
When the equipment is not used for a long period of time or overnight, the lift has sto be
lowered up to its closing position, take off the vehicle and interrupt the power supply.
Electrical operations (Control pannel, figure22)
Lifting :
push the "UP" button to lift the platforms that will stop
once the upper end limit switch is reached.
releas the "UP" button , to stop the platforms lifting.
Secure position:
push the " SEC. DOWN" button to block the platforms in
position. For maintenance and alignment operations, the
lift must be blocked in the secure position to carry out
adjustment and repairs.
Lowering:
Push the "DOWN" button to lower the platforms that will rise
slowly for a few seconds to release the security device, and
then will start lowering.
During lowering phase, the acoustic alarm will continue to
ring.
Releas the "DOWN" button to stop the platforms.
Once the platforms have reached the lower end limit switch, at a height of about 300mm, they
will stop descending.
Push the «SEC. DOWN» button to let the platforms descend to the closing position.
Emergency Stop:
If the lift has functioning anomalies, especially during the vehicle maintenance, push the
"EMERGENCY STOP" button to take off the power. Do not perform any other operations until the
problem has been spotted and solved.
