MANUAL INTRODUCTIONS

This manual is provided for personnel experienced and skilled in the use of lifting equipment
such as lifting operators and tecnical personnel responsabile of the installation and the
routine maintence of the lift.
It is recommended to the personnel employed on the lifit operations to read carefully the
«Use and Maintenance Manual».
The following manual contents important information on:
- Safety rules for operators and maintenance personnel.
- Safety rules of the lift;
- Safety rules of lifted vehicles
CONSERVING THE MANUAL
The manual is part of the lifting equipment.
It is recommended to keep the manual nearby the lift so that the operators and the
maintenance personnel can read it quickly and at any time.
It is recommended to read carefully chapter 3 of the manual which refers to important and
needed information on the safety rules.
All the operations such as lifting, transport, packaging, installation, starting, initial
assestment, executions, extraordinary maintenance, repair, dismantling of the lift have to
be performed by specialized personnel to whome it was concessed the license from the
manufacturer's authorized reseller.
The manufacturer declines the responsability for dameges to persons or object and to
vehicle dameges even if any of the operetions described was carried out by unauthorized
personnel or if the lift is used for non allowed operations.
This Manual indicates operative and safety aspects that may be usefull to the operators and
the maintenance personnel. For a better understanding of the structure, the functioning
of the lift and for a better use of it, it is recommended to read carefully the manual before
operating the machine .
To guarantee a better use of the equipment it is necessary to understand the terminology
used in this manual, know the maintenance and repair activities, be able to interpret
correctly the technical drawings and the descriptions containend in the manual, know the
rules in force in the country where the lift is installed.
The same requirements are asked also to the maintenance personnel and to the installer,
who must have specific and specialized knowledge both in the mechanical and engineering
fields:
OPERATOR: authorized person in the use of the lift.
INSTALLER AND MAINTAINER: authorized person in the installation or maintenancing
operationsthe lift.
The manufacturer reserves the right to bring changes to the manual in line with the
technological improvements that may be develop on the equipment.
