Delay
The set delay only becomes active after a power failure (staggered start-up in projects). On each further start-
up, the pumps start up immediately when they are requested via the level.
Overrun
The overrun allows the pump to continue draining off below the level probe, e.g. for ram pressure systems.
Current limitation (max. current - 1, max. current - 2)
The rated current of the relevant pumps can be set directly. The software in the control system adds a certain
percentage to the set value in order to compensate tolerances. The pumps are triggered after an I² / t function,
thus factoring in the increased staring current of the pumps.
Thermal fault 1, thermal fault 2 (both present once for each pump in the menu)
In the case of pumps whose temperature monitoring only consists of one bimetal contact per pump, thermal
fault 1 can be deactivated accordingly in the menu. Thermal fault 2 cannot be switched off in the menu.
Fault memory
NEW!
The last fault that occurred remains stored and can be called up in the menu under "Last Fault". Once the fault
has been called up in the menu, it can be deleted from the memory with the Acknowledge button.
Rotating field fault
The rotating field monitoring monitors both the phase sequence and the absence of a phase. In the event of a
phase error, the pumps are blocked, an alarm is issued and the message "Rotating field fault" appears in the
display. The rotating field monitoring can be activated and disabled in the menu. The rotating field monitoring
must be switched off when operating 1 ~ motors.
CAUTION!
ATEX mode
For pumps that are used in areas with a potentially explosive atmosphere, the ATEX mode must be activated
in the menu. The ATEX mode prevents the pumps being switched on via the manual function, forced
activation or a remote control system while the level is below the tripping point. If the pumps are started up via
the overrun time or manual function while the level is still below the tripping point, the pump can drain off fluid
below the tripping point. The manual mode is automatically interrupted after 2 minutes. If the ATEX function
prevents an activation of the pumps, the message "ATEX: Level below tripping point" appears in the display.
Service mode
Service mode is activated on delivery, i.e. all settings can be changed. If Service mode is deactivated in the
menu, the settings can only be retrieved with the digital potentiometer.
CAUTION!
While Service mode is deactivated, no settings apart from the language can be changed.
