8. Ingress protection

The product has an IP54 ingress protection rating. It provides limited protection against dust and water splashing from
all directions. Do not submerge!
Note
• For the ingress protection rating to be effective the rubber compartment cover should be properly sealed.
• The insertion cable connector is IP54 rated.
• Only expose to fresh water with a neutral pH value

9. Getting started

a) Charging the battery
• Connect one end of the included power adaptor to the power input socket on the product and the other end to a
mains power supply.
• The battery status is shown on the display:
