4.1 Preparation
The installation and wiring of the Wiring Unit and Communication Unit in
compliance with the mounting instructions must have been completed.

Before you are able to continue and complete the installation of 8400 motec, you
have to take some decisions regarding the parameter setting and
commissioning.
Is the inverter to be preset with DIP1, DIP2, P2, or P3?
Carry out settings as specified.
