• Batteries must be charged correctly prior to use.
The instructions from the manufacturer and the
specifications in these instructions for use re-
garding correct charging must be observed at
all times.
• Batteries can be extremely dangerous if swal-
lowed. Keep batteries and all device parts out of
the reach of small children. If a battery is swal-
lowed, seek medical assistance immediately.
• Batteries should not be charged or reactivated
with any other means, nor should they be taken
apart, thrown in the fire or short-circuited.
• Batteries can contain poisonous substances
that are damaging to health and the environ-
ment. Therefore, batteries must be disposed
of in accordance with the applicable legal
regulations. Never dispose of batteries in the
normal household waste.
• Do not expose the batteries to excessive heat
such as sunlight, fire, etc.
CAUTION
• Replace weak batteries before they discharge
completely.
• Leaking batteries can damage the device. If
you do not use the device for an extended
period of time, remove the batteries from the
battery compartment.
• If a battery has leaked, wear protective gloves
to clean the battery compartment using a
dry cloth.

4. Intended use

• Only use the device to monitor your baby
when you are unable to directly supervise the
baby yourself. It is not a substitute for your
personal and responsible care!
• The device is only intended for domestic /pri-
vate use, not for commercial use.
• This device is not intended for use by per-
sons (including children) with restricted physi-
cal, sensory or mental capabilities and/or by
persons lacking the required understanding of
the equipment and how it is used, unless they
are supervised by a person who is responsi-
ble for their safety or they are given instruc-
tions on how to use the device.
• Any improper use can be dangerous.
