USE

CUTTING HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT

This mechanism raises/lowers the mower cover and has several steps. When adjusting the cutting height, be aware
that weeds can be more easily converted into very short grass. If the grass is long, it may be necessary to cut it in
several steps, gradually lowering the cutting height each time. To adjust the cutting height:
1.
Pull the height adjustment lever (5) outwards to disengage the teeth.
2.
Push the lever forward to raise or backward to lower, releasing it and locking it into the teeth at the desired
height.

ENVIRONMENTAL CONSIDERATIONS

ALTITUDE
If the engine is being used in altitudes at or above 1500m, adjustments to the carburettor may be necessary. This is
because there is less oxygen in the air as altitude increases, which effectively "enriches" the ratio of fuel to the air
into the engine and the higher the altitude, the richer the fuel mixture becomes. If the engine is being permanently
operated at high altitude, it is recommended to have an authorized technical centre make the necessary carburettor
adjustments. If the engine is used occasionally at altitude (not at extreme altitudes) no adjustments should be required,
however, a slight decrease in engine performance can be expected.
TEMPERATURE
If the engine is being used in extremely cold or hot environments, such as in a desert or snow conditions, it may
be necessary to change the type of engine oil to adapt to ambient temperatures. Oil thickens as the temperature
decreases and thins as temperature increases, which means that if the engine oil is not suitable for the temperature,
its ability to properly lubricate the engine may be affected. Use the following table to determine the correct engine oil:
