Only use extension cords with a
minimum cross-section area of 1,5

Repairs (for example power supply
cord replacement) should be
performed only by a qualified
electrician.

Do not use chemical paint removers or
solvents at the same time as the hot
air pistol.

Clean the nozzle when soiled.
G
Be sure that the openings for air entry
and exit are always clean and free of
dirt.

Hazardous or poisonous gasses can
be freed when removing paint. Be
sure to provide adequate ventilation
while working indoors.

Never point the hot air directly at
windows or other glass surfaces.
Start of operation:
Be sure that the power supply voltage
matches that printed on the model
name-plate.
Choose the desired temperature and air
quantity with the ON/OFF switch (2). The
hot air pistol reaches the working
temperature within one minute.
Switch position 1:
1st level - 375 °C / 400 l liters per
minute.
Center position:
The tool is switched off.
Switch position 2:
2nd level - 500 °C / 550 l liters per

Possible uses for the hot air pistol:
1. Removal of paint and lacquer.
Attention! Hazardous or poisonous
gasses may be produced while
removing paint or lacquer. Be sure
to provide adequate ventilation.
2. Removal of stickers and decorations.
3. Loosening of rusted or tightly fastened
nuts and metal screws.
4. Thawing of frozen pipes, door locks,
etc. Attention: no not attempt to thaw
plastic or synthetic pipes.
5. Accentuation of natural wood grains
before staining or
lacque-ing.
6. Shrinkage of PVC packaging foils and
insulation tubes.
7. Waxing and de-waxing of skis.
Caution: Intensive heating means a
higher risk of fire and explosion!
Ensure good ventilation. Harmful
and/or toxic gases and vapors may be
emitted.
Choosing the right nozzle:

The deflector nozzle (5) diverts the hot
air to protect glass etc. from
overheating. Use it to strip paints.
G
Use the fishtail nozzle (6) to distribute
the air uniformly over small areas.
G
Use the cone nozzle (7) to confine the
heat to corners and small areas.
G
Use the reflector nozzle (8) to solder
and shape pipes, to thaw frozen water
