10. FUNCTION menu

Press the „MENU" key on the remote control
to call up the main menu.
Use the arrow keys on the remote control to
select the Function menu and press „OK".
Use the arrow keys to change the highlighted
setting and to select the line where you want
to make settings. To exit a setting or the menu,
press the „MENU" key.
In this menu you have the following setting options:
OSD time: The duration for which OSD menus are displayed before they are automatically hid-
den can be set here with 5s, 10s, 15s, 30s and „Always".
Lock: See chapter 10.1 „LOCK submenu".
CEC: If you have connected devices to the TV set via HDMI, you can set here whether the TV
set should automatically switch to standby or on via these devices. The prerequisite is that the
connected device also supports CEC.
PVR list and PVR option: See Chapter 11 „Recordings".
ECO mode: Determines the maximum picture brightness. In ECO mode „Off
the television radiates at full brightness, but also requires more power than in ECO mode
„On".
Blue screen: When „Blue Screen" is switched off (Off), the screen is
screen is black when there is no information to be displayed or as a background to menu
screens when no programme is being played. In the „On" position, the background is blue
instead of black.
Teletext language: Pressing the „OK" key takes you to a submenu in which you can select the
teletext language „On".

Audio language: For stations which broadcast the sound in several languages, you can

is broadcast with subtitles. The languages available are the same as for audio languages (see
above).

10.1 Lock Submenu
In the FUNCTION menu, select „Lock" and
confirm with „OK". The LOCK submenu
opens, in which you can navigate with the
arrow keys.
System lock
To access this menu item, you must enter the
system password (default value is 0000). If you select „On" for „System lock", the menu items
displayed below will be unlocked.
Parental Control
With this menu item you can determine that only programmes with a release up to the set age
can be watched. You can set 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18 years and Off.
Channel lock
Here you can lock channels that can then no longer be selected. To do this, select the channel
you want to lock in the list and mark it with the blue button on the remote control. A lock
symbol appears next to the channel.
Setting the password
Here you can assign a personal password and thus change the standard password.
10.2 Hotel submenu
In the LOCK submenu, select the item „Hotel"
and confirm with „OK". The HOTEL submenu
opens, in which you can navigate with the
arrow keys.
Hotel mode
If you select „On" for „Hotel mode", the
menu items displayed below are released.
Key lock
In the „On" position, the keys on the set are locked and the TV can only be operated with the
remote control.
