The cables in the mains plug could be damaged and cause a short circuit when reconnected.
Air circulation and high temperatures:
The ventilation slots on the rear wall of the set must always remain unobstructed. Please do
not place any newspapers or blankets on/over the TV set. If the TV set is placed or hung in
a cabinet or on a shelf, there must be at least 2 cm of free space at the sides and at the top
for air circulation. Like any electronic device, your TV set needs air for cooling when it is in
operation. If the air circulation is obstructed, fires may occur.
Place the TV set with the stand only on a level, stable, horizontal surface. The set should not
protrude from the front, especially when placed in or on furniture.
Position the set so that it is not exposed to direct sunlight or additional heat from radiators.
Avoid metal parts, needles, paper clips, liquids, wax or similar getting into the interior of the
unit through the ventilation slots in the rear panel. This will cause short circuits in the unit
and possibly lead to a fire. If anything does get into the interior of the unit, immediately
pull out the 12V plug or mains plug of the unit and call the customer service for inspection.
Repairs:
Never remove the rear panel of the TV set yourself. Leave repair and service work to autho-
rised TV technicians only.
Cleaning:
Clean the TV set, the display and the remote control only with a damp, soft and clean cloth
without any sharp or abrasive cleaning agent.
Note about the LED display:
The TV set with LED display you have purchased meets the highest quality standards and
has been checked with regard to pixel defects. Despite the utmost care in manufacturing
the displays, it cannot be 100% ruled out for technological reasons that pixels may have
defects.
Recycling:
The EU Directive 2002 / 96 / EC regulates the proper return,
treatment and recycling of used electronic equipment.
Used electronic equipment must therefore be disposed of separately.
Please do not dispose of this device in the normal household waste!
You can return your device free of charge to designated collection points or, if applicable,
to your specialist dealer if you purchase a comparable new device. According to the Battery
Ordinance, used batteries must not be disposed of in the household waste. Dispose of used
batteries free of charge in the collection containers provided by retailers.
For further information, please contact your local administrative authority.
