Operation

3.1 Preparation

WARNING: First time use: Run
without adding coffee at least 1 time.

WARNING: Please follow the
steps in the "Brewing Coffee" section
from 1 and 3 – 9.
1. Remove all packaging and stickers and dispose of
them according to applicable legal regulations.
2. Before using of the appliance for first time,
carefully clean all parts that come into contact
with water.
3. (See "Cleaning and care" section).
4. Make sure that the appliance is sitting in an
upright position and on a stable, flat, clean, dry,
and non-slip surface.

3.2 Brewing coffee

1. Open the water tank cover (1) and use the glass
jug to fill the water tank (3) with the required
amount of water, but do not fill past the 'max'
mark. The scale on the glass jug is marked in
coffee cups, e.g. 4 = 4 cups. Don´t operate the
appliance with less than 2 cups of water.

Use only clean, cold and fresh drinking
water.
2. Fill with the the permanent filter (7) with the
desired amount of ground coffee. To do this, you
may use the supplied measuring spoon .
As an alternative to the permanent

filter (7) , a suitable paper filter (1 x
4) may also be used, which can be
inserted directly into the filter holder
(8).
3. Close the water tank cover (1).
4. Place the glass jug on the warming plate (5).

5. Connect the plug to the wall socket.
6. To turn the appliance on, by selecting the On/
Off switch (7) to the "I" position.
7. The On/Off switch indicator light (6) illuminates
and the brewing process begins.
The brewing process can be

stopped at any time by selecting
the On/Off switch (6) to the "O"
position.
The appliance is equipped with a
drip-stop (4) located underneath

the filter holder (8) and enables
you to briefly remove the glass jug
(9) to pour coffee before the water
has finished running through the
machine.
When the process is finished, if you
do not want to serve immediately,
keep the coffee maker is energized,
the coffee can be kept warm in the

keeping warm plate, the appliance
will be cut off power automatically
after forty minutes if it has not
been manually disconnected at
the completion of brewing .For an
optimum coffee taste, serve it just
after brewing.
WARNING: Remove the glass

soon as the brewing process has
finished and the glas jug is filled.

8. To turn the appliance off, select the On/Off
switch (7) to the "O" position.
