Commissioning

9.1

Installation

The hydraulic power pack must be stored and operated horizontally.
Hydraulic oil may leak out in any other position.
Proceed as follows to commission the hydraulic power pack.
1. Installation into Learnline mobile:
We recommend installing the hydraulic power pack first, and then filling it with oil. Place the hydraulic
power pack onto the two columns next to the containers. Select a mounting position which makes the
display easy to read. The threaded plates attached to the bottom of the tank ensure secure mounting.
2. Use in combination with Learnline stationary
The hydraulic power pack can be placed directly on the floor. We recommend using a castor set. This
makes it easier to move the hydraulic power pack even when it's filled with hydraulic oil.
9.2

Filling with hydraulic oil

The hydraulic power pack is not filled with oil before shipment.
Unlubricated operation of the pumps is not permitted! Operating the hydraulic power pack without
hydraulic oil will destroy the pump.
1. Fill the hydraulic power pack with the recommended type of mineral oil until the fill-level can be seen in
the oil level indicator. Remove the vent filter or the return filter cover and fill through the resulting
opening. Check the tank for leaks by inspecting it visually. Use a suitable funnel for filling. Remove any
spilled hydraulic oil immediately!
2. Fill the pump before initial start-up. Fill with hydraulic oil via the connection (5) until the pump housing
is completely full.
3. Inspect the electric cables and connections for damage before connecting the hydraulic power pack. Do
not commission the hydraulic power pack if the mains cable or the plug is damaged. Check the mains
voltage and frequency against the technical data.
