OPERATION
After filling and placing the unit in an appropriate location, the Aurora is ready for use.
FAN SPEED / VAPOR INTENSITY
1)
Plug the humidifier in and turn the knob
to the right until it clicks, indicating the
unit has been turned on. The power
light illuminates green.
2)
The power indicator light will turn red
when the water supply is low. At this
point turn unit off and refill water tank.
3)
Rotate the knob to the right to increase the fan and vapor release speed. Note
the small divot on the knob indicating the position of the knob.
LED NIGHTLIGHT FEATURE
A multi color LED light feature provides 7 distinct shades of color when the LED
button is pushed in. These colors automatically cycle through colors:
Purple Indigo Blue Green Yellow Orange Red
If you prefer a steady color, simply press the LED button again. You can step
through each color manually and stop when you come to the desired color.
To exit this mode, press the LED button until the light goes out. Then the next time
you press the LED button it will start in the automatic cycle mode again.
NOTE: This LED nightlight feature is a separate function and does not require the
humidifier to be on to work.
AROMATHERAPY FEATURE
A small tray on the side of the humidifier base provides an aroma therapy option.
This tray holds a small pad where essential
oils can be added. The fan will disperse the
aroma throughout the area.
Any essential oil that is recommended for
diffusers are appropriate for use with this
unit. Various essential oils, including:
Vanilla, Lavender and Eucalyptus are
available individually or in a three pack at
www.aircareproducts.com or by calling
1.800.547.3888.
We recommend only adding a few drops of oil at a time and waiting a few minutes
to see how it disperses, instead of saturating the pad initially. You can add more oil if
needed.
NOTE: Petroleum-based mentholated products are not recommended for use in the
tray, as over time this may deteriorate the strength of the tray. Instead use essential
oils such as eucalyptus and mint to create a similar fragrance.
NOTE: The aromatherapy feature only works when the humidifier is operating.
