The second operating time band is programmed in the same way as for the first time band <1>. The
installer must set the program start and end times, the week days in which program <2> must be activated
and the interval between electric pump start-ups.
NOTE: to exclude
one of the daily programs (program <1> or program <2>) set both the ON time and OFF time at "00:00".
CAUTION: the programmed OFF time only establishes at which time the automatic pump start-ups are
interrupted. If, at this time, the pump is running and there is still water flowing through the device, the
pump will continue operating until the next flow interruption (mechanical float closed or no fluid on
intake) or until the electric contact of the external float opens.
The following parameters are common to program <1> and program <2>
excessively frequent intervention of the dry-running protection, especially on pumps with problems in
self-priming or when there are air bubbles present in the circuit. The factory setting is 10 seconds. Use
keys "+" and "-" to modify the stop delay.
start-ups will only be enabled in the next programmed ON period.
Reset <1>: this parameter defines the time interval between each electric
pump start-up attempt. For example, with the parameter set as shown in the
image alongside, the pump is started up every 15 minutes, during the
operating time band <1>, to verify availability of water on intake. Use keys
+ and – to modify the parameter value.
Setting of program <2>
Common parameters
Stop delay: this parameter enables the user to set after how many seconds
the electric pump is stopped when no water flow is detected. The flow may
be interrupted when the mechanical float installed downline closes (tank
full), when there is no liquid available on intake to the pump or when the
latter is faulty. It may be useful to increase this parameter to avoid
Night Test : this parameter enables activation of the function "Night Test" .
When this function is active, during a programmed OFF interval (usually at
night) if the electric float signals tank emptying, Crono Spy starts the pump
for one cycle only to attempt immediate refilling of the tank. The test is
performed once only during the entire OFF period and the subsequent pump
