name or part of it followed by pressing the "confirm" key. After that,
by pressing the navigation keys, all the stored names are shown in
alphabetical sequence, starting from the name inserted.
The options available in the menu "Main telephone book" are:
- Call
- Read
The "Call" option allows to make the call towards the selected
extension of the main telephone book, simply pressing the "OK" key
or lifting the handset.
The "Read" option allows to show the telephone number of the
selected extension of the main telephone book and the speed
number with the navigator keys.
If the telephone is not enabled to enter the table of the speed
numbers, to whom the name belongs, next to the name found, on the
last position of the display, the character "X" will appear; it indicates
the impossibility to read the number and make the phone call.

Direct Dial Keys

Directly associating a key to an extension stored in the local
telephone book is possible. Choosing this option, you will be
required to press a function key of the telephone (see note) (if there
aren't extensions in the local telephone book, the "Telephone book
empty" string will appear and therefore any association will not be
possible).
Note: in some system release, the number of the associated key is
shown on the display (the number is preceded by the K letter if the
key belongs to the K Module); the choice must be confirmed or
modified.
If the key does not have previous association in local telephone
book, assigning one of the present extensions in the local
telephone book itself (running the names of the telephone book or
through the directed introduction of the name) will be possible.
If the key has previous association in local telephone book, the
associated name is shown; such association is signalled, according
to the system release, with a fast lightening red of the relative led
or displaying the number of the key already associated (the number is
preceded by the K letter if the key belongs to the K Module). It will be
