Heat pump water heater – TECHNICAL INFORMATION FOR INSTALLERS
Make sure that any portable ladders are securely
positioned, that they are sufficiently resistant,
that the steps are intact and not slippery, that

these do not move around when someone
climbs on them and that someone supervises at
all times.
Make sure that the work area has adequate
hygiene and health conditions in terms of

lighting, ventilation and the solidity of relevant
structures.
Wear individual protective clothing and

equipment during all work phases.
All operations inside the appliance must be
10 performed with the necessary caution in order to
avoid sudden contact with sharp parts.
Before handling, empty all components which
11 may contain hot water and perform bleeding
where necessary.
Make all electrical connections using suitably-
12
sized conductors.
Protect the appliance and all areas in the vicinity
13
of the work area using suitable material.
Handle the appliance with the necessary
protections and with due caution. When lifting
loads with cranes or hoists to make sure of the
lifting stability and efficiency
14 in relation to the movement and weight of
cargo, sling load correctly, apply ropes to
control the movements, handle from a position
with a full view of the entire path, do not allow
the passage of persons under suspended load.
Arrange materials and equipment in such a way
as to make handling easy and safe, and avoid

the formation of any piles which could give way
or collapse.
Reset all safety and control functions affected by
any work performed on the appliance and make

sure that they operate correctly before restarting
the appliance.

4. INSTALLATION

WARNING! Observe the general warnings and safety instructions listed in the previous
paragraphs and strictly adhere to the indications therein contained.

4.1 Location of the internal unit

WARNING! Prior to starting any installation activities, ensure that the location where the water heater is to be
installed satisfies the following requirements:
a) Respect the Minimum installation dimensions specified in Figure 5,

splinters or fragments, inhalation of dust,

Fire caused by overheating due to electrical
current passing through undersized cables.
Damage to the appliance or surrounding
objects caused by falling splinters, knocks and
incisions.
Damage to the appliance or surrounding
objects caused by shocks, knocks, incisions
and crushing.
Damage to the appliance or surrounding
objects caused by shocks, knocks, incisions
and crushing.
Damage or shutdown of the appliance caused
by out-of-control operation.
