Keeping your washer clean improves its performance, wards off unnecessary repairs, and
lengthens its life.

Cleaning the exterior

Wipe the washer surfaces, including the control panel, with a soft cloth using a nonabrasive
household detergent.
Use a soft cloth to dry the surfaces.
CAUTION: Do not pour water onto the washer.

Keeping the tub clean

When you use the washer under humid conditions for an extended time, various airborne micro-
organisms can stick to the tub and form mold. Keep the tub clean and sanitary at all times.
Auto Reminder
• The washer automatically reminds you to clean the tub at regular intervals. When the Auto
Reminder turns on, remove any laundry from the tub, and then press the Course (Cycle)
button to select Self Clean.
• The auto reminder indictor turns on for six consecutive times. Although it can be safe to ignore
the reminder, we recommend you run the self clean cycle every one or two months based on
your usage habits and the environment.
• The auto reminder activates once every one or two months, depending on the tub conditions.
• The tub cleaning time may differ depending on the weather and the water temperature.
