    Retention System: - The retention system (strap) is factory-adjusted at a standard length. Before use, check that it is correctly pre-adjusted. - Make sure the strap is properly fastened and tightened so as to keep the helmet firmly in place. Anyway, before riding, make sure that the strap is well fastened under the chin, as close as possible to the throat, but without being uncomfortable.
  • Page 4 Do not remove the visor pulling up/down mechanisms from the shell. If the visor opening/closing mechanisms are not working properly or if such mechanisms get damaged, please contact a Nolan authorized dealer.

  • Page 7 Always make sure that the VPS is clean and that it is operating properly in order to avoid scratches and/or anomalous wear on it every time it is activated. Always check the correct VPS operation and in case of malfunctioning do not use the helmet and contact immediately a Nolan authorized dealer.

  • Page 9 DISASSEMBLY 2.1 Remove the left front cheek pad flap between the chin guard and the base edge trim (Fig. 10 B). 2.2 Remove the wind protector clockwise as shown in Fig. 9 B. 2.3 Insert the left front cheek pad flap between the chin guard and the base edge trim (Fig. 10 B). WARNING!!! The Wind Protector is easily removable.
  • Page 10 Note: Check the correct assembly of the liner front area by lifting and lowering the VPS. These movements should be smooth. If this is not the case, repeat the steps 1.5 and 2.2. 2.4 Insert the chin strap into the appropriate space on the cheek pad; insert the back hard plastic flap of the cheek pad under the shell sealing edge, between the cheek pad and the inner shell.

  • Page 27 Precauciones de uso La normativa de homologación actual (ECE22-05) establece que los niveles mínimos de transmitancia luminosa de las pantallas deben ser superiores al 80% durante la conducción nocturna y, en cualquier caso, no inferiores al 50% durante la conducción diurna. Esto hace que sea muy frecuente, por no decir casi obligatoria, la utilización de gafas de sol (que determinan una transmitancia resultante considerable- mente inferior al 50%) durante la conducción diurna en condiciones meteorológicas y ambientales con luz particulares;...
