Maintenance
• Before starting any inspection or service, to avoid electrical shock, please make sure the heater is
shut down and that the power cord is disconnected.
• When cleaning the heater, please wear gloves to prevent possible injury.
• Do not use a pressure washer for cleaning the heater.
1. All gas supplies must be closed before maintenance.
2. Before using, the heater must be cleaned using compressed air, a soft cloth or brush.
3. Be sure to check all gas connections with a soap and water solution.

Filter Cleaning

• Be sure to attach the filter prior to operation. Failure to do so will cause the burner to get clogged,
causing unit to operate improperly.
• When replacing the filter, use a genuine filter made by Shizuoka Seiki Co., Ltd.
1. Remove the cover by pulling out the filter case, and remove the
filter.
2. Clean the removed filter or replace with a new filter. Please clean
once a month.
POINT:
Use a brush with water, or use a vacuum cleaner to clean.

Burner Head Cleaning

When a misfire is detected while using in the environment with a lot of dust and welding fumes or
when the heater is used after storing for an extended period of time, clean the burner head.
1. Remove the burner cover.
2. Blow air into the hole in the center of the fan visible from the air intake of the
combustion fan.
