7.3 Adjusting the sensitivity

The sensitivity adjustment (in steps of 3 dB from
–18 dB to +12 dB) is used to match the micro-
phone input (2) to the signal level of the micro-
phone connected Adjust the sensitivity in such a
way that an ideal volume level of the microphone
is obtained When the volume is too high, the
microphone signal will distort; in this case, adjust
a lower value When the volume is too low, the
signal-noise ratio will be poor; in this case, adjust
a higher value
1) The display briefly indicates
the current sensitivity in dB Use the button
to adjust a higher value or the button
to adjust a lower value
2) To save the setting, press the button SET
7.4 Level attenuation
If the microphone level is too high even at the
lowest sensitivity, the level attenuation can be
activated additionally
1) The display indicates the current setting:
= attenuation deactivated
= attenuation activated
Use the button
or the button
to select the setting
2) To save the setting, press the button SET
7.5 Selecting the transmission power
There are two options for the transmission power:
high or low A high transmission power will in-
crease the range, but it will also reduce the bat-
tery life (the batteries will be discharged more
quickly)
1) The display indicates the current transmission
power:
= low transmission power
= high transmission power
Use the button
button
to select
2) To save the setting, press the button SET
