Installing the appliance
Notice
Do not install the dryer in an enclosed
area or in any area without fresh air
circulation.
The dryer works in accordance with
the exhaustair principle. The moist
warm air generated during the drying
of the laundry exits through exhaust air
openings.
Route the exhaust air via an exhaust
►
duct to a ventilation shaft or into the
atmosphere (see
exhaust
duct)
If the supply of fresh cooling air is
inadequate, the dryer will suck in again
the warm and humid exhaust air.
This lengthens the time taken for
drying thus increasing the energy
consumption.
Install the dryer in a well ventilated
►
area to ensure that no gases from ap
pliances that burn other fuels (includ
ing open fire) flow back into the room
while the dryer is operating.
During the drying process take care to

ensure that the room is well ventilated
(open windows or the door, unclosable
