A few tips in case of problems...

ROBLEMS
The appliance
does not work.
The paddle does not stay
in place.
The food has not
been cooked
uniformly.
The french fries are not
crunchy enough.
The french fries break
during cooking.
The food stays on the
edge of the pan.

The appliance is not plugged
in properly.
You have not pressed the ON /
OFF button.
You have pressed the ON / OFF
button but the appliance is not
working.
The appliance is not heating.
The paddle does not turn.
The paddle is not locked.
You have not used the paddle.
The food has not
been cut uniformly.
The french fries have not been
cut uniformly.
The paddle has been fitted
correctly but is not turning.
You are not using a potato variety
that is recommended for french
fries.
The potatoes are insuffciently
washed and/or not completely
dried.
The french fries are too thick.
There is not enough oil.
The filter is clogged.
The quantity is too large.
The potatoes used are newly
harvested and hence have a high
water content.
The pan has too much food.
Max level exceeded.

OLUTIONS
Make sure the appliance
is properly connected.
Press the ON / OFF button.
Close the lid.
Take the appliance to an Authorised
Service Centre.
Check that it is inserted in the correct
position, otherwise take the appliance
to an Authorised Service Centre.
Reposition the paddle until you hear it
- fig.4b.
"CLICK"
Put it in position.
Cut the food all to the same size.
Cut the french fries all to the same size.
Take the appliance to an Authorised
Service Centre.
Choose a potato variety that
is recommended for french fries.
Wash potatoes for a long time to
remove the starch, drain and dry very
thoroughly before cooking.
The maximum chip thickness
is 13 mm x 13 mm (0.51 x 0.51
inches). Cut them more thinly.
Increase the amount of oil (see
cooking table on p. 9 to 11).
Clean the filter.
Reduce the amount of potatoes
and adjust the cooking time.
Choose a potato variety
recommended for french fries.
Comply with the amount shown on
the cooking table.
Put the turn-over ring in place.
Reduce the amount of food.
Reduce the quantities.
