– Undo the locking screw (b) by pressing.
– Slide the wheels (10) upwards.
– Tighten the locking screw.

– Hold the product with both hands.
– Activate the switch lock (2).
– Press the start button (4).
– The device starts.

– Release the switch lock (2) and start button (4).
– After each use, unplug the power cable from the
power supply.
Loosening the earth
DANGER! Risk of injury! Never let go of
the handles when working. Never remove
dirt or contamination when the motor is
running. Switch off the motor and unplug
the power cable from the extension cord.
Only remove contamination with an aid, for
example, a wooden stick.
Notes for operating the garden hoe
Please observe the following notes regarding the
handling of the garden hoe:
– Only use the garden hoe on soft gardens. Larger
stones or objects should be removed before you
start work.
– When working on slopes, always work at an
angle to the slope.
– Do not move the device over cement, asphalt or
similar with the hoe tool rotating.

– Remove loose dirt with a brush.
– Wipe the tool with a damp cloth.
Unit maintenance
– Check the power cable for potential damages.

– Remove foreign bodies from the ventilation slots
of the drive (7).
– Check the hoe tool (8) for potential damages.
– Check screw connections for firm seating.

Storage, transportation

– Switch the device off.
– Unplug the power cable from the power supply.
Storage
DANGER! Risk of injury! Make sure that
unauthorised persons do not have access
to the device!
Transport
– Secure the device from shifting.
– When dispatching, try to use the original
packaging, if possible.

Disposal

Disposal of product
Products with this symbol may not be dis-
posed of with the household waste. You
are obliged to dispose of such products
separately. Contact your community
authorities for information regarding the
correct disposal of the device.
By disposing of the product correctly you are ensu-
ring that it will be recycled or processed for reuse.
This helps to prevent hazardous material from dama-
ging the environment.
Disposing of the packaging
The packaging is made of cardboard and separately
labelled foil which is also recyclable.
– Take these materials to a recycling centre.
