(Translation of the original instructions)
The oil drain plug may be damaged if
tightened with a torque greater than
5 Nm.
11. Remove the oil from the deepest section of
the tank with an oil extractor (26).
12. Dispose of the oil in accordance with local
regulations.
Filling
1. Fill the oil tank with new oil.
2. Disengage the rear axle gear. Move the lever
(15:A) to position A2.
Place two wooden boards (4-5 cm
thick) in front of and behind the rear
wheels (in contact with the tyre) to en-
sure that the machine remains station-
ary in the following operations.
3. Release the parking brake. Press the pedal
fully down and release (11:B).
WARNING: the following operations
must be carried out with the bonnet
open and the engine running, keep
your hands away from any moving
parts.
4. Start the engine. When the engine is started,
the front axle drive disengagement lever au-
tomatically moves inward.
Never operate the engine when the
rear axle drive release lever (15:A) is
engaged and the front axle drive re-
lease lever is disengaged (15:B). The
front axle gaskets could be damaged.
If the engine is started indoors, an ex-
haust extraction device must be con-
nected to the engine exhaust pipe.
5. Disengage the front axle drive release lever.
Move the lever (15:B) to position B2.
NOTE! The oil is quickly drawn into the
system. The tank must be continuous-
ly topped up, until it remains full, to fill
the circuit and to ensure that no air
is drawn into the system, which must
never happen.
6. Adjust the accelerator pedal forward by lock-
ing it with a wooden wedge (28).
7. Run forward for one minute.
8. Move the wooden wedge and adjust the
accelerator pedal to the opposite position.
Continue topping up oil.
9. Run in the opposite direction for one minute.
ENGLISH
10. Change the direction every minute as indi-
cated above and continue to top up oil until
there is no more bubbling in the tank.
11. Switch off the engine, replace the oil tank
cover (23:B) and close the engine bonnet.
12. Run the machine at various speeds for a few
minutes and if necessary adjust the oil level
in the tank.

STEERING

For the intervention timing see chapter
13.

9.9.1 Checks

Turn the steering wheel slightly back and forward.
There should not be any mechanical play in the
steering chains.

9.9.2 Adjustment (29)

If necessary, adjust the steering chains as
follows:
1. Straighten the machine wheels.
2. Adjust the steering chains by means of the
two nuts placed under the central point (29).
3. Adjust both nuts equally until any play is
eliminated.
4. Test the machine by moving it forward in a
straight line and check that the steering is not
off-centre.
5. If the steering is off-centre, loosen one nut
and tighten the other.
Do
chains. This would stiffen steering and
increase the wear on its chains.

9.10 BATTERY

For the type of battery used on the machine see
"0 TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS TABLE"
WARNING! The acid contained inside
the battery is corrosive and its contact
is harmful.
Handle the battery carefully taking
