Troubleshooting
PROBLEM
1
When the machine is
powered, the electronic
regulator doesn't switch on.
2
The compressor buzzes
intermittently but does not
start.
3
The display is lit and the
regulator is in the "on"
position but the machine
does not start.
4
The compressor has
stopped due to thermal
cut-out switch intervention
or the alarm "PA" is shown
at the display (generic
pressure switch)
5
The compressor does
not start and there is no
buzzing sound, although
power is being supplied
to the machine and the
temperature setting on the
electronic regulator is lower
than that of the cold room.
6
Insufficient capacity: the
machine cannot bring the
cold room temperature to
the set value.
7
The auxiliary circuits (cold
room lighting and door
resistor), are not working
96
LIKELY CAUSE
1.1
The electronic regulator is in the OFF position
1.2
The electronic regulator is not connected (or
badly connected).
1.3
The electronic regulator is not working.
2.1
The line voltage is lower than tolerance
limits.
2.2
The electrical connections are wrong because
they have been tampered with.
2.3
The electrical motor winding is faulty.
3.1
The set point setting is above the cold room
temperature.
4.1
Condenser inefficient.
4.2
Insufficient air flow to the condenser.
4.3
Air recirculation on the condenser.
4.4
The motor winding is short circuited or
earthed.
4.5
High pressure switch intervention
5.1
The power supply to the compressor has
been cut off.
5.2
The electrical motor winding has been cut off.
5.3
The electronic regulator relais are faulty.
5.4
The electronic regulator is in stand-by mode
6.1
The Evaporator is full of ice
6.2
The set parameters are incorrect due to
tampering.
6.3
The cold room door is being opened too
often.
6.4
The area where the system has been
installed is too hot.
6.5
The condenser is dirty.
6.6
The defrost control relay switch of the
electronic regulator is faulty.
7.1
Relevant circuit cut off or light bulb burned
out.
7.2
Faulty fuse
Manual
INTERVENTION
Switch on the electronic regulator.
Check that the connection terminals of the
electronic regulator have been correctly
inserted into their respective terminals.
Replace the electronic regulator.
Measure the input voltage of the machine
and if lower than the tolerance limits, request
an intervention from your power supplier.
Restore the original connections, ref-fering to
the original electrical diagrams.
Check the winding circuit continuity and if
necessary, replace the compressor.
Check the set point setting and, if necessary,
decrease it.
Clean the fins unit and if necessary,
straighten any bent fins with comb.
Check the fans are correctly working. Check
their status and the rotation sense.
Move the machine to a more suitable
location.
Replace the compressor.
Verify the proper state of the condenser (as
per points 4.1, 4.2 e 4.3).
Disconnect the line at its ends and check the
circuit continuity
Check the continuity of the winding circuit
and, if necessary, replace the compressor.
Replace the electronic regulator.
Bring back the electronic regulator to ON
mode
Carry out a manual defrost cycle until the
evaporator is free of ice.
Restore the parameters as shown in the
relative table.
Limit cold room door opening.
Air the premises.
Clean the fins unit and, if necessary,
straighten the fins with a comb.
Replace the electronic regulator.
Restore the proper connection and/or
replace the light bulb.
Replace the fuse
