Introduction

Thank you for purchasing the SUPERCOOK kitchen machine. Please read
the user manual carefully and keep them in a safe place so you can refer
to them at a later date. We hope you enjoy using your kitchen machine and
that it produces good results.
Example uses of the multifunctional kitchen machine
Puréeing fruit, vegetables, sauces and soups
Mixing shakes and cocktails
Pulverising sugar and dried chillies
Grinding almonds and hazelnuts
Grating fruit and vegetables

Product and safety instructions

Please read the following important information through carefully before
using the multifunctional kitchen machine for the fi rst time:
1. Before you start: Remove the kitchen machine and all the accessories
from the box.
2. Please do not operate the kitchen machine on wet or damp surfaces.
3. The only way to guarantee safe operation of the kitchen machine is
by connecting to the mains via a standard 3-pin mains socket. Check
that your electrical system complies with the power and voltage
information on the rating label of the kitchen machine. Incorrect
connections shall invalidate the guarantee.
4. With all electrical devices, there is a risk of electrocution which can
cause injury or even death. It is therefore important to comply with the
safety instructions at all times.

a result of insuffi cient power supply or incorrect installation in the
building. If in doubt, please consult a qualifi ed electrician.
6. Keep the packaging material, especially packaging fi lm, bags and
polystyrene, out of the reach of children.
7. When fi rst used, some smell may develop. This is not dangerous.
8. Do not immerse the kitchen machine, the control module or the power
cable in water.
9. Never cover the kitchen machine with tea towels, cloths, etc.
10. Keep a suffi cient distance from other heat sources, such as hobs, in
order to avoid damage to the device.
11. This kitchen machine is not a toy and must be kept out of the reach
of children.
12. Lay the cable such that it does not get squashed or kinked or come
into contact with hot surfaces.
13. If using an extension cable:
a. the cable must be grounded
b. take all necessary precautions to ensure the cable does not
become a trip hazard.
14. Never allow the power cable to dangle free and never unplug it by
pulling the cable, always pull on the plug.
15. Do not use the kitchen machine:
a. if the cable or plug is damaged
b. if it malfunctions, if the kitchen machine has been dropped or
shows visible signs of damage.
16. Do not move the kitchen machine while it is running.
17. This kitchen machine is designed exclusively for domestic use and for
use indoors.
18. Never attempt to repair the kitchen machine yourself. Do not replace
or modify the power cable, power supply or other components. Always
consult an authorised technician or the hotline.
19. If the module malfunctions or gets damaged, disconnect it from
the mains.

21. The kitchen machine is not a deep fat fryer. Under no circumstances
must you attempt to deep fat fry food in the kitchen machine.

a. when cleaning
b. when not in use
c. in the event of a power failure
24. Persons with limited experience or knowledge in handling such
devices and persons with limited physical, psychological, mental and
sensory capabilities and children should only operate the kitchen
machine under supervision or instruction from a person who can
accept responsibility for safety. Children must be supervised to make
sure they do not play with the kitchen machine.
25. This kitchen machine is designed to be used for household and similar
applications, for example
• in employee kitchens in shops, offi ces and other commercial areas
• in agricultural properties
• by customers in hotels, motels and other accommodation
• in bed and breakfasts

Care instructions

Handle the kitchen machine and accessories with care. The recommen-
dations below will help you preserve your guarantee and ensure any
guarantee claims are valid.
1. Switch the kitchen machine off if you do not plan do use it for an
extended period.
2. Allow the kitchen machine to cool completely before cleaning.
3. Clean all components and accessories which come into contact
with food.
4. Use a soft, slight moistened cloth to clean the jar recess on the

kitchen machine.

5. The contacts under the jar must be kept clean and dry.
6. All accessories are dishwasher-safe.
7. To avoid the build-up of germs, clean the kitchen machine and sealing
rings after every use.
8. Never use abrasive or astringent detergents.
9. Any lime scale marks can be removed using vinegar.
10. It is normal for some discolouration to occur in the plastic accessories
from beta-carotin in carrots or tomatoes or spices in curry. You can
reduce the discolouration slightly by moistening a cloth with cooking
oil and rubbing the area gently. Then rinse off quickly with warm water,
then with cold water and a little washing-up liquid.
11. Only use the kitchen machine as described in these operating
instructions.
