OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
The guard has a very sharp cutting edge that is
used for cutting the trimmer line. Take great care
when attaching the guard.

Assembly of the telescopic shaft
To attach the shaft (See Fig E & F), open the
lock lever (4) on the main handle and attach
the telescopic shaft (11) to the main handle,
then lock the lever (4) to secure the two pieces
together.
Next, open the lock lever on the shaft (9) and
attach the trimmer head onto the shaft and lock
the lever (9) to secure the two pieces together
(see Fig G).

Adjustment of the shaft (See Fig H)
For operator comfort, the length of the shaft can
be adjusted up or down.
• Hold the shaft with one hand, and then loosen
the adjusting lock nut.
• Set the handle to the desired length and
tighten the adjusting lock nut.

Edging Function
For trimming the edges of lawns and flower
beds, the function of the grass trimmer can be
adjusted by pressing the Head Rotation Button
(10) and rotating the head assembly 90° until it
locks into position. Use the edge roller to assist
in guiding the trimmer along an edge (See Fig
J), the trimmer can function as an edger.
