Please_observe_that_the_surfaces_and_controls_are_
susceptible_to_scratches_and_abrasions._all_external_
surfaces_and_controls_can_be_cleaned_using_warm_
water_with_a_little_washing-up_liquid_applied_with_a_
sponge_or_cloth._wipe_the_surfaces_dry_using_a_soft_
cloth.
do_not_use_cleaning_agents_contain-
ing_soda,_acids,_chlorides_or_solvents._
avoid_abrasive_cleaning_agents,_e.g._
powder_cleaners_or_cream_cleaners_and_
abrasive_sponges_as_these_will_damage_
the_surface_material.__

cleAning the greASe filter

the_filter_absorbs_grease_in_cooking_fumes_and_re-
quires_cleaning_now_and_then._how_often_depends_
on_how_much_the_cooker_is_used_and_for_how_much_
the_fan_is_in_operation._
remove_and_clean_the_filter_regularly_and_do_not_
wait_until_the_suction_power_of_the_fan_begins_to_de-
crease_noticeably._note_that_an_oversaturated_filter_
is_a_fire_hazard._
the_grease_filter_is_mounted_on_the_bottom_cover.
to_clean_the_filter,_follow_these_stePs:
1. disengage_the_bottom_cover_as_described_
in_"installation_procedure",_steps_1-3._
2. observe_how_the_filter_is_installed_before_
removing._lift_filter_straight_up_to_remove._
3. clean_the_filter._either_by_hand,_using_a_soft_
nylon_brush,_warm_water_and_a_little_wash-
ing_up_liquid_-_or_-_in_a_dishwasher_where_
the_filter_should_be_placed_with_the_short_
side_upright_in_the_lower_basket,_ensuring_
the_spray_arm_is_not_obstructed._wash_using_
a_65_°c_(145-150_°f)_programme._

used,_cleaning_the_filters_in_a_
dishwasher_can_cause_permanent_
discolouration_to_the_surface._ho-
wever,_this_will_not_affect_the__
functioning_of_the_filters_in_any_way._ _
