Installing the effective load

·
Place the centre of gravity of the effective
load if possible centrically to the yoke plate.
·
Move the piston rod into the retracted end
position.
·
Fasten the effective load with retracted
piston rod to the yoke plate using
4 screws (M6) and, if needed,
2 centring sleeves ZBH−9.
The tightening torque is 10 Nm.

Fitting electric components

Note
Strong magnetic fields in the immediate vicinity of the guided drive (e.g. with
welding systems) will cause permanent magnetization of the ferromagnetic
parts. As a result, the switching points of the proximity switches will be
permanently shifted or the magnetically coded measuring tape 8 will lose its
properties.
· Make sure that the DFME−LAS is screened against strong electromagnetic
interference (e.g. with a transformer plate).
· Avoid external influence caused by magnetic or ferritic parts in the vicinity of
the reference switch and the sensor measurng system.
Note
· Take into account the warnings and instructions on electrical installation in
the manual for the SFC−LACI controller.
Protecting the end positions against uncontrolled overrunning:
·
Take into consideration the fact that software end positions must be set in the
SFC−LACI controller.
·
Make sure that power to the SFC−LACI controller is switched off.
It is not sufficient just to cancel the enable signal to the controller.
