FUNCTIONS

The device is meant for filtering and heating of pool and hot tub water. It can be used in two different modes
(FILTER / HEATER)
In FILTER-mode the device circulates the pool water through the inbuilt filter when turned on or according to
the timer settings.
In HEATER-mode the device heats up and filters the pool water trying to reach the set water temperature in
the pool. The pumps and heating stop when the set temperature is reaches. Or the pump for filter keeps
running according to the timer. Depending on the set pump mode.
Recommended water temperature in hot tub is 36°C – 38°C. In pools les than 30°C.
Recommended ambient running temperature for the device is +5°C - +40°C, and -20°C - +5°C under
constant supervision.
The device tries to prevent freezing by itself if possible. It will turn on the circulation pump and heater not
depending on the settings if temperature will go low enough.
Pump starts automatically always if incoming water temperature Tin <= 6C and ambient temperature Tw
<=8C.
If the incoming water temperature Tin <=3C and ambient temperature Tw <=3C also the heater turns on.
The heating will turn off when incoming water temperature Tin >=6C or ambient temperature Tw >= 8C.
If the tub is going to be emptied for winter. You must move the device to warm storage or empty it totally
from water with compressed air or water vacuum cleaner. So that there will not be any water left in the
pipes, heater element or the pump that would freeze and break the system.
